What is express entry?
Express Entry is a system designed for Canadian PR. Anyone living in Canada as a temporary resident or outside Canada, has to go through this process to be a permanent resident in Canada. For this, three categories have been divided with different eligibility criteria. People satisfying the requirements for any one stream can apply for that particular stream.
Following are the three streams in Express Entry.
To apply for any one of the streams, one needs to create an online profile. Based on the information you provide about your education, work experience, skills, and other things, you will be awarded a CRS score. CRS is a Comprehensive Ranking System used to select candidates for PR from the express entry pool. Once you meet the minimum score requirement for a draw, you will receive an Invitation To Apply (ITA). after that, all you need to do is submit all your documents to the IRCC for inquiry within 60 days and wait for the decision.
