British Columbia: Increase PNP Invitations through Targeted draws

General Draw: Focused on Skilled and Semi-Skilled Workers
Under the Skilled Worker and Entry Level & Semi-Skilled streams, the first draw invite total 6 candidates. Both streams consist options aligned with the federal Express Entry system of Canada, that is called as Enhanced PNP streams.

Manitoba
On 6 December, MPNP announce that it will end up accepting applications of work permits under Temporary public policy. The Temporary public policy was started initially in August 2024 and allows PNP Immigration authorities to issue support letters to PNP candidates in the application inventory process in the province PNP or Express of Interest (EOI) pool.
The MPNP announced on December 6 that it will soon cease accepting applications under the “Temporary public policy for Open Work Permit Policy aimed at prospective PNP candidates”. Candidates can use the support letter to apply to IRCC for an open work permit ( OWP).
MPNP Accepting applications till 18 December
MPNP accepts the open work permit applications till 18 December at 11:59 PM CST on Wednesday. After the last date, the online submission form are close, and no new applications will accepted after the date.
The eligible individuals can apply for support letter from Manitoba, by fill their submission form before 19 December 2024. IRCC will accept the applications for OWPs under this policy till 31 December 2024 only
