995 workers and international students invited by the Ontario PNP draw | The EOI system of Ontario was invited for taking the next step towards Canadian immigration. A new invitation round was held in Ontario on September 21. It invited 995 for applying for a provincial nomination. Candidates, having profiles in the EOI-Expression of Interest pool, were invited by OINP – The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program. The candidates might have qualified for one of the two streams of Employer Job Offer.
406 people who might have been eligible for Foreign Worker Stream were invited by the Ontario PNP draw. A minimum score of 37 was necessary for these candidates. There were no targeted occupations or local requirements for the draw since there was a general draw.
For the application of nomination in a general draw, through the International Student Stream, another 523 were also invited. The eligibility criteria for the invitation of these students were a minimum EOI score of 61.
66 immigration candidates’ invitations were issued by the OINP. These candidates were registered for the Regional Immigration Pilot. Moreover, they may get qualified for two same streams of Employer Job Offer. 36 of these invitations were issued to foreign workers. 30 of these went to the international students.
Employer Job Offer information: Foreign Worker Stream
The Employer Job Offer category, under which is the Ontario Foreign Worker Stream, is now open to foreign nationals. These foreign nationals must have an eligible offer of a job from an Ontarian employer. Till the point you meet all the eligibility requirements, you need not apply from within the country of Canada. Two works of work experience must be accumulated in order to be eligible. The job experience must be in a skilled occupation. You should also possess an eligible Ontarian job offer and should have an intention of immigration to the province.
For the application of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNPs), you must register a profile of EOI on the website of Ontario. After registration, it will be transferred to the EOI pool. You will be given a score based on the submission of your information.
The Employer Job Offer information: International Student Stream
The Employer Job Offer category, under which is the Ontario International Student Stream, is now open to foreign nationals. These foreign nationals must have an eligible offer of a job from an Ontarian employer. Till the point you meet all the eligibility requirements, you need not apply from within the country of Canada.
For being eligible, you must complete a program at a Designated Learning Institute in Canada. You also have to have an eligible Ontarian job offer and the intention for immigration to the province.
