First Express Entry Draw 2023 For April Is Held By IRCC: The Canadian government agency handling immigration applications is IRCC, which stands for Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. IRCC manages skilled foreign worker applications for permanent residency using Express Entry, a popular online system. The first Express Entry draw of the month was held on April 6, 2023, by the IRCC. Besides, this draw is essential for IRCC’s regular greeting adjustment timetable, which occurs like clockwork. A Remarkable Month For Express Passage
March was a record-breaking month for Express Entry. IRCC issued 21,667 ITAs in four draws. Since its launch in January 2015, this is the second-highest monthly total record by Express Section. Candidates in the CEC may benefit from the large all-program draws. As many of them have expressed growing concerns regarding the expiration of their Post-Graduation Work Permits (PGWPs).
Furthermore, to help PGWP holders, migration server Sean Fraser as of late declared that on April 6, PGWP holders are qualified to apply for an 18-month open work grant augmentation.
For international students who graduate from a postsecondary institution in Canada, PGWPs are a one-time open work permit. A candidate is no longer eligible to apply for permanent residence if their PGWP expires before they receive an ITA. Obtaining a visitor record or an alternative work permit can be costly and time-consuming.
Due to a six-week unplanned draw pause followed by four program-specific draws that did not target CEC candidates between November 2022 and February 2023, only some CEC candidates received ITAs.
