Mendicino of IRCC i.e. Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship, has announced a unique pathway to get permanent residency for 90,000 International Graduates & Essential Temporary Workers who are currently contributing to the economy of Canada. This policy will help permanent residency to international students and essential workers who are working the eligible occupation as per the Canadian Government list. This has been introduced to accelerate the recovery of the economy of Canada. The focus of this program will be on temporary workers employed in our hospitals and long-term care homes and on the frontlines of other essential sectors. It will also encourage international graduates who are driving the economy of tomorrow.

This stream will remain open until 5th November 2021, or when the limit has been reached. However, 90,000 new permanent residency to international students and essential workers will be admitted to Canada.

Three additional streams are also launched to promote Canada’s official language. There is no cap limit for French-speaking or bilingual candidates.
