Express Entry Canada Invited 500 PNP candidate for Permanent Residency: On May 26th 2021, Canada sent an invitation to 500 Express Entry Candidates to apply for the Permanent Residency in Canada. A candidate will be invited for Express Entry only if applicant have received a nomination from Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). In this Express Entry draw, the minimum score required for eligibility was 713. This score includes the 600 points that a candidate receives automatically due to the PNP nomination. So, without a PNP Nomination, the candidate should have only 113 points. If the draw is compared with previous PNP Draws, the points requirement was reduced by 39 points. However, the invitations for Permanent Residency was also dropped by 57 candidates.

According to this draw, a candidate who has submitted their profile for Express Entry before 06th April, 2021 at 09:50:14 UTC will be invited. Since the beginning of the year 2021, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held Express Entry draws that target to the candidates who are already living inland of the country. This also contributes to achieving the target of  401,000 new permanent residents in the year 2021. Out of these, 108,500 candidates, are expected to immigrate through Express Entry-managed programs.

In the year 2021, a total of 55,771 Express Entry candidates are invited by Canada. This seems to be more invitations than it was issued last year at the same time. on February 13 Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) had invited every candidate who follows all the eligibility requirements for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). As per IRCC estimates about 90 percent of the candidates are already living in Canada.

If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
