For the non-essential travels Canada’s border is still closed but as mentioned above the Canadian government still wants to welcome a huge number of new immigrants for permanent residence. Additionally, in the current scenario, the Canadian government led by the liberal party has set a target of 40,100 new immigrants to welcome in Canada through the Express Entry program. Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada(IRCC) is holding some program-specific draws to meet the targets set by the Canadian government. The program-specific draw targets the candidates who are likely already in the Country.
The candidates who are eligible under the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) should have at least full-time work experience of at least one year in their skilled occupation. And, it is obvious that the candidates submit their Express Entry profile then they are likely to live already in Canada. In the previous report, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) said that there is about 90 percent of the candidates who are applied for their Express Entry profile are already living in Canada.
When the Canadian border was first closed in March 2020 then Canada amends between holding the provincial program system (PNP) draws and the rounds of invitation who only invites the candidates that are eligible for Canadian Experience Class (CEC). Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has applied this pattern until the end of the year when they started holding all the program draws repeatedly, which came out to not single out the candidates who are eligible for any program.

Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada(IRCC) is back again withholding the provincial program system (PNP) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) specified draw. Moreover, every single candidate who was eligible for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) was invited by the department. Also, on February 13, a total 27,332 number of candidates who are eligible under the Express Entry CEC program were invited by IRCC.
The Invitation to Apply (ITA) that is issued by the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) has exceeded this year due to this reason. So, Canada has issued 44,124 new invitations to the express entry candidates in the year 2021. Obviously, in the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) specified draw the scores will depend upon the number of the candidates invited to the given draw. Mostly, the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) draws requirements get down for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) specific draws as it is based upon the number of the candidates that are in the pool, it also depends upon the no. of the invitations that are issued by the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
