Travelling to Canada? General Information you need to know: This pandemic has already impacted the whole world in worst ways. Canadian immigration is among those that has been impacted a lot. However, with vaccination process, Canada have been easing the travelling restriction in the first phase which is initiating from 5th July, 2021. Fully vaccinated travelers can now skip quarantine as of 12:01 AM Eastern time. Moreover, they are also not required to exercise Day 8 testing. Visitors or Canadians whoa re arriving Canada are not required to stay at the Government Authorized hotels and wait for their on-arrival test results. However, dependent adults and children who are still not vaccinated must compulsory need to quarantine for 14 days (hotel is not compulsory) irrespective of travelling to Canada along with fully vaccinated people. 

All people visiting Canada must undergo pre and post arrival test to ensure that even the fully vaccinated travelers are not having any Covid related symptoms. Also, they needs to submit all documents/information to ArriveCAN to prove that they are fully vaccinated. Read More

Manitoba PNP draw for PR invited 1,017 candidates: In the year 2021, Manitoba has invited 4,722 candidates through their provincial nomination program. Manitoba has just recently announced a PNP draw on 1st July, 2021 for Manitoba. In this draw an invitation of Provincial Nomination has been sent to 1,017 candidates. Candidates who have received the nomination from Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program (MPNP) can apply for the Permanent residency in Canada. The province generally invites the applicants to apply for one of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), which are:

  • International Education Stream
  • Skilled Workers in Manitoba
  • Skilled Worker Overseas

The Skilled worker streams is eligible to only the candidates who have already submitted the EOI (Expression of Interest) profile.

Canada Express Entry invites 6,000 candidates with minimum CRS 357: Canada held 194th Express Entry CEC draw on 24th June, 2021 to invite 6,000 candidates with a minimum score of at least CRS 357. Moreover, after the previous draw on June, 10 for the new immigrants, in which 6,000 CEC i.e. Canadian Experience Class candidates  were invited to apply Permanent Residency in Canada. Also, the recent draw was 11 point lower than the previous draw of 368 CRS points. This makes this draw to be the second lowest score requiring Express Entry Draw. Immigrants who are invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada, have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program. Those candidates who will receive an invitation to apply (ITA) are considered eligible candidates and should have a score of at least 357.

Ontario PNP invites nurses, investment managers, accountants: Ontario recently announced the PNP Program where the province invited candidates from occupations such as nurses, investment managers, and accountants. The candidates were sent the provincial nomination which were already present in the Express Entry Pool. On 23rd June, Ontario PNP Program invited 583 candidates to apply for the nomination. The eligible candidates must have the CRS Score in between 464 and 467. Also, these candidates must be eligible for Express Entry HCP Stream (Human Capital Priorities). Alberta Draw for PNP announced at CRS 300 to invite 184 Express Entry: New Express Entry draw was announced by Alberta on June 22, in which they invited the candidates under Express Entry to apply for the provincial nomination program (PNP). Hence, with this draw, about 2,284 candidates had been issued by the Alberta province to the Express Entry candidates who can apply for the provincial nomination program (PNP) in the year 2021. Alberta Draw for PNP invited 184 candidates under Express Entry through Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) on June 22nd, so as to apply for the Express Entry stream of Alberta. This year the requirement for the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was at least 300, which means it is one point less than the previous draw.

On June 16, 2021 British Columbia invited 72 candidates to apply for the BC Provincial Nomination. Hence, in this draw the province sent the invitation to the candidates to apply under the below categories:

On June 16, British Columbia invited 72 immigration Candidates to apply for provincial nominations in the BC PNP British Columbia Tech Draw. Express Entry CEC Draw score drops to invite massive candidates: Canada held 192th Express Entry CEC draw on 10th June, 2021 to invite 6,000 candidates with a minimum score of at least CRS 368. Moreover, after the previous draw on May, 31 for the new immigrants, in which 5,956 CEC i.e. Canadian Experience Class candidates  were invited to apply Permanent Residency in Canada. Also, the recent draw was 12 point lower than the previous draw of 380 CRS points. This makes this draw to be the second lowest score requiring Express Entry Draw. Express Entry PNP biggest draw held by Canada to Permanent Residency: On June 9th 2021, Canada sent an invitation to 940 Express Entry Candidates to apply for the Permanent Residency in Canada. A candidate will be invited for Express Entry only if applicant have received a nomination from Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). In this Express Entry draw, the minimum score required for eligibility was 711. This score includes the 600 points that a candidate receives automatically due to the PNP nomination. So, without a PNP Nomination, the candidate should have only 111 points. If the draw is compared with previous PNP Draws, the points requirement was reduced by 2 points. However, the invitations for Permanent Residency are increased by 440 candidates. Read More

BC Latest PNP Draw invited 373 candidates in Provincial Nomination: British Columbia issued around 5,249 invitation to the eligible candidates to apply for permanent residency in Canada. These invitations were made since the beginning of this year. British Columbia has issued around 373 invitations in two provincial category held on 8th June, 2021. These invitations were sent in every two weeks of intervals. In the previous draw held on 25th May 2021, 370 candidates were sent invitation under two provincial Nominee Program.

On May 8th, the province held a new British Columbia draw in which 370 immigration candidates are invited. Hence, only those candidates who are from Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration (SI) streams of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) must have received invitations in this general draw.
