CEC CRS Draw announced at 380 to invite 5,956 candidates: Canada held 190th CEC Express Entry draw on 31st May, 2021 to invite 5,956 candidates with a minimum score of at least CRS 380. Moreover, after the previous draw on May, 20 for the new immigrants, in which 1,842 CEC i.e. Canadian Experience Class candidates were invited to apply Permanent Residency in Canada. Also, the recent draw was 17 point lower than the previous draw of 397 CRS points. This makes this draw to be the second lowest score requiring Express Entry Draw. Immigrants who are invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada, have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program. Express Entry Canada Invited 500 PNP candidate for Permanent Residency: On May 26th 2021, Canada sent an invitation to 500 Express Entry Candidates to apply for the Permanent Residency in Canada. A candidate will be invited for Express Entry only if applicant have received a nomination from Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). In this Express Entry draw, the minimum score required for eligibility was 713. This score includes the 600 points that a candidate receives automatically due to the PNP nomination. So, without a PNP Nomination, the candidate should have only 113 points. If the draw is compared with previous PNP Draws, the points requirement was reduced by 39 points. Alberta PNP Invitation Draw issued to 250 PNP Immigrants: New Express Entry draw was announced by Alberta on May 25, in which they invited the candidates under Express Entry to apply for the provincial nomination program (PNP). Hence, with this draw, about 1,909 invitations had already been issued by the Alberta province to the Express Entry candidates who can apply for the provincial nomination program (PNP) in the year 2021. Alberta PNP Invitation Draw invited 250 candidates under Express Entry through Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) on May 25th, so as to apply for the Express Entry stream of Alberta. However, the invitation was already sent on 18th may to the eligible candidates. This year the requirement for the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was at least 301, which means it is one point more than the previous two draws.
British Columbia PNP Invitation issued to 370 eligible candidates: British Columbia issued around 5,000 invitation to the eligible candidates to apply for permanent residency in Canada. These invitations were made since the beginning of this year. British Columbia has issued around 370 invitations in two provincial category held on 25th May, 2021. These invitations were sent in every two weeks of intervals. In the recent draw held on 25th May 2021, 370 candidates were sent invitation under two provincial Nominee Program.
On May 11th, the province held a new British Columbia draw in which 379 immigration candidates are invited. Only those candidates who are from Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration (SI) streams of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) must have received invitations in this general draw.
CUKTCA UK Nationals eligible for expedited work permits to work in Canada: United Kingdom Nationals can now apply for the Expedited Work Permits to visit and work in Canada, if they were previously falls under the CETA. CETA is also know as Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement which is a free trade agreement made between the European Union (EU) including member states and the Canada. The trade agreement known as Post-Brexit was signed between both parties (Canada and UK) which came into effect on 1st April, 2021. So, the nationals of United Kingdom covered under CETA can no apply for the Work Permits under the CUKTCA (Canada-UK Trade Continuity Agreement). Moreover, the Northern Ireland Nationals will also be eligible for this. The work permits applied under this program will be expedited as these does not require any LMIA (Labour Market Impact Assessment).
U.K. Nationals who are currently working in Canada under the CETA Program and wanted to extend the work permit, then they have to fill a new application under the CUKTCA Program.
Manitoba PNP draw invited 232 candidates to apply for PR: In the year 2021, Manitoba has invited 3,018 candidates through their provincial nomination program. Manitoba has just recently announced a PNP draw on 25th May, 2021 for Manitoba. In this draw an invitation of Provincial Nomination has been sent to 232 Candidates. Candidates who have received the nomination from Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program (MPNP) can apply for the Permanent residency in Canada. The province generally invites the applicants to apply for one of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), which are:
- International Education Stream
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba
- Skilled Worker Overseas

British Columbia Tech Pilot Draw issued invitation for 82 candidates: Since February, British Columbia has been conducting its invitations in 2 rounds periodically every two weeks. British Columbia has issued around 4,438 invitations this year through various PNP streams. These invitations were sent in every two weeks of intervals. In the recent draw held on 18th May 2021, 82 candidates were sent invitation under British Columbia Tech Pilot Program.
On May 19, the province held a new British Columbia Tech Pilot draw in which 82 immigration candidates were sent invite under two categories:
