6,000 Caregivers for Canada to be finalized by the end of 2021: Immigration Minister of Canada announced new rules and measures for the caregivers to finalize their permanent residency in Canada. By December 31, 2021, the immigration department of Canada has a plan to finalize over 6,000 application of caregivers who want to become permanent residents of Canada. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) gives a statement on April 15, in which they state that the caregivers who have complete work experience as well their family member in Canada only those applications will be finalized.

Canada held CEC Express Entry CRS draw on 16th April 2021 which is the second largest in the history of Express Entry. After the previous draw on April,1 for the new immigrants, this draw invited 6000 CEC i.e. Canadian Experience Class candidates for applying to the Permanent Residency in Canada. Also, this draw was 15 points lesser than the previous draw of 432 CRS points. Immigrants who are invited to apply for permanent residence in Canada, have to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) program. Those candidates who will receive an invitation to apply (ITA) are considered eligible candidates and should have a score of at least 417.

New Express Entry draw was held in Alberta on April 6, in Which they invited the candidates under Express Entry to apply for the provincial nomination program (PNP). Recently, about 1,209 invitations were issued by Alberta to the Express Entry candidates who can apply for the provincial nomination program (PNP) in the year 2021. Alberta invited 200 candidates under Express Entry through Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) so as to apply for the Express Entry stream of Alberta. This year the requirement for the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was 302, which means it is one point more than the previous two draws.
