The Canadian visitors carry on with having work permit access | Canada announced the extension of a coronavirus-related measure that allows visitors permission for obtaining jobs. It is extended till February 28, 2022. Temporary residents of Canada, having valid visitor status could apply for the permission of employer-specific works within Canada since August 24, 2020. Since the workers in Canada with visitor’s visas cannot change their status without having left the country, this change is meant to be a temporary regulatory one.
High demanding jobs in Quebec amidst the Covid-19 pandemic. The globally affected coronavirus had an eminent role to play in Quebec’s job sphere. Some occupations have been more in-demand as compared to others. According to a case study released by Canada, many jobs have been affected negatively due to the Covid-19 pandemic. A significant population was dismissed from their jobs and were unemployed. Jobs such as those of retail salespersons, cooks, and administrative assistants witnessed such a negative impact.
Largest Ontario Expression of Interest draw announced: Ontario announced the recent EOI Draw in which a total of 1,685 international students and temporary foreign workers were invited for provincial nomination. Manitoba has just recently announced a PNP draw on 11th July, 2021 for Manitoba. In this draw an invitation of Provincial Nomination has been sent to 277 Candidates. Candidates who have received the nomination from Manitoba Provincial Nomination Program (MPNP) can apply for the Permanent residency in Canada. A candidate will be invited for Express Entry only if applicant have received a nomination from Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). In this Express Entry draw, the minimum score required for eligibility was 760. This score includes the 600 points that a candidate receives automatically due to the PNP nomination. So, without a PNP Nomination, the candidate should have only 160 points. If the draw is compared with previous PNP Draws, the points requirement was increased by 49 points. Hence, with this draw, about 2,284 candidates had been issued by the Alberta province to the Express Entry candidates who can apply for the provincial nomination program (PNP) in the year 2021. Alberta Draw for PNP invited 184 candidates under Express Entry through Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) on June 22nd, so as to apply for the Express Entry stream of Alberta. This year the requirement for the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was at least 300, which means it is one point less than the previous draw.

A candidate will be invited for Express Entry only if applicant have received a nomination from Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). In this Express Entry draw, the minimum score required for eligibility was 711. This score includes the 600 points that a candidate receives automatically due to the PNP nomination. So, without a PNP Nomination, the candidate should have only 111 points. If the draw is compared with previous PNP Draws, the points requirement was reduced by 2 points. A candidate will be invited for Express Entry only if applicant have received a nomination from Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). In this Express Entry draw, the minimum score required for eligibility was 713. This score includes the 600 points that a candidate receives automatically due to the PNP nomination. So, without a PNP Nomination, the candidate should have only 113 points. If the draw is compared with previous PNP Draws, the points requirement was reduced by 39 points. Hence, with this draw, about 1,909 invitations had already been issued by the Alberta province to the Express Entry candidates who can apply for the provincial nomination program (PNP) in the year 2021. Alberta PNP Invitation Draw invited 250 candidates under Express Entry through Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) on May 25th, so as to apply for the Express Entry stream of Alberta. However, the invitation was already sent on 18th may to the eligible candidates. This year the requirement for the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score was at least 301, which means it is one point more than the previous two draws.
