BC PNP invited 223 candidates in 16th August Draw: British Columbia has invited 223 candidates to apply for Permanent residency through British Columbia PNP Program. On August 16, 2022, British Columbia has sent the invitation in various categories for 223 candidates to apply for the BC Provincial Nomination. Hence, in this draw, the province sent the invitation to the candidates to apply under the below categories:

  • Skilled Worker
  • Skilled Worker – EEBC option
  • International Graduate
  • International Graduate – EEBC option
  • Entry Level and Semi Skilled
  • Skilled Worker, International Graduate (includes EEBC option)
  • Skilled Worker, International Graduate, Entry Level and Semi-Skilled (includes EEBC option)
  • Entry Level and Semi-Skilled
  • Skilled Worker, International Graduate (includes EEBC option)

On 16th August, British Columbia invited 223 immigration Candidates to apply for provincial nominations in the BC PNP British Columbia Tech Draw. Therefore, under the categories of Express Entry BC and skills immigration, the candidates are given invitations under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Tech Pilot draw.

Eligible jobs under this Saskatchewan Saskatchewan Hard-to-Fill Skills Pilot New Immigration Pilot Program include entry-level positions that may require on-the-job training. Also, the most labor-demanding sectors in Saskatchewan include healthcare, manufacturing, agriculture, ag-tech, construction, hospitality, and retail.

1.8 million Canada Immigration Application delayed processing by IRCC: The IRCC Offices (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) immigration applications backlog is nearing 1.8 million. Data collected from  Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) shows the following number of applications at  the IRCC inventory as of October 27, 2021 (numbers are rounded): 

  • 548,000 Permanent residence (corporate, family, refugee) application and humanitarian class application
  •  776,000 applications for Temporary residence permits (temporary residence visa, work permit, visitor extension application, and study permit) 
  •  468,000  Applications for Canadian citizenship (as of October 26) 
  • 1,792,000 Total inventory application

Express Entry PR Canada Draw held at CRS 760 | ICCRC News: On July 7th 2021, Canada sent an invitation to 627 Express Entry Candidates to apply for the Permanent Residency in Canada. A candidate will be invited for Express Entry only if applicant have received a nomination from Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). In this Express Entry draw, the minimum score required for eligibility was 760. This score includes the 600 points that a candidate receives automatically due to the PNP nomination. So, without a PNP Nomination, the candidate should have only 160 points. If the draw is compared with previous PNP Draws, the points requirement was increased by 49 points. However, 627 candidates have been sent invitations for Permanent Residency. Read More

Express Entry PNP biggest draw held by Canada to Permanent Residency: On June 9th 2021, Canada sent an invitation to 940 Express Entry Candidates to apply for the Permanent Residency in Canada. A candidate will be invited for Express Entry only if applicant have received a nomination from Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). In this Express Entry draw, the minimum score required for eligibility was 711. This score includes the 600 points that a candidate receives automatically due to the PNP nomination. So, without a PNP Nomination, the candidate should have only 111 points. If the draw is compared with previous PNP Draws, the points requirement was reduced by 2 points. However, the invitations for Permanent Residency are increased by 440 candidates. Read More

Express Entry Canada Invited 500 PNP candidate for Permanent Residency: On May 26th 2021, Canada sent an invitation to 500 Express Entry Candidates to apply for the Permanent Residency in Canada. A candidate will be invited for Express Entry only if applicant have received a nomination from Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). In this Express Entry draw, the minimum score required for eligibility was 713. This score includes the 600 points that a candidate receives automatically due to the PNP nomination. So, without a PNP Nomination, the candidate should have only 113 points. If the draw is compared with previous PNP Draws, the points requirement was reduced by 39 points. However, the invitations for Permanent Residency was also dropped by 57 candidates. Read More
