Canada PNP draw outreaches 932 candidates: Express Entry Draw In a new Express Entry draw, Canada invites 932 candidates on June 8 to apply for permanent residence (PR).

In the new draw, only PNP (Provincial Nominee Program) candidates were invited by (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada) IRCC. A minimum score of 796 was required to be invited to the drawCanada PNP draw candidates automatically get a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) of 600 points along with their base score, due to which the score was relatively higher.

On March 2, Canada invited the largest number of candidates, which is 1,047 PNP immigrants. In the previous draw, the number of PNP candidates was 589 with a minimum score of 741.

Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program | Immigration program for tech workers: Alberta’s immigration minister, Tyler Shandro, announced the Accelerated Tech Pathway on January 13. The province had already begun accepting applications to the new program in December.  In order to be eligible, tech professionals need to have a profile in the federal government’s Express Entry system and be eligible for the Alberta Express Entry Stream.

Canadian government added 15,000 jobs in April and the unemployment rate fell low to 5.2% as the job market remained heated, according to data released by Statistics Canada on Friday.
There is no sign that the tight Canadian market will ease soon. In addition to the modest number of jobs added, the unemployment rate among core-aged workers (ages 25 to 54) hit a record low, at 4.3%, as did the involuntary part-time unemployment rate, at 15.7%.
Faced with an increased cost of living because of higher inflation and enticed by high wages, some Canadians who retired at the onset of the pandemic are returning to the workplace, which helps fill some job vacancies.

The family class sponsorship program in Canada is aimed at reuniting Canadian citizens and permanent residents with their family members. By undertaking to support sponsored family members for Canadian immigration, the sponsor promises that, for a specified duration, they will provide basic needs for their members of a family, so they do not have to rely on money from the Canadian government.

Canada increases immigrants under Immigration Levels Plan 2022-2024: The Canadian government is increasing its immigration targets again. It will look almost 432,000 new immigrants in 2022 instead of its initial plan to target 411,000 newcomers.

Government suggested three year plan for new immigrant landings under immigration Levels Plan 2022-2024.
In 2022, the government plans to welcome 431,645 permanent residents. In 2023, the target goal for permanent residents will increase to 447,055 and then 451,000 permanent residents in 2024.

First PNP draw for Ontario 2022: Canada aims to welcome 411,000 newcomers in 2022. This is the highest level ever targeted in Canadian history. Included in this total, Canada plans to target 241,500 economic newcomers, including:110,500 Federal Skilled Workers, Federal Skilled Trades, and Canadian Experience Class candidates 81,500 Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates. The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is part of Canada’s Provincial Nominee Program that allows potential immigrants who want to come to Canada to contribute to the economy of Ontario to apply to immigrate to Ontario.
